Traditional Braces

This orthodontic system relies on guidewires and attached tooth brackets. Periodically, you visit your Lower Templestowe dentist for the necessary wire adjustments that slowly move your teeth into the desired positions.

It typically takes one to two years to complete treatment.

Why Consider Clear Braces?

Invisalign

Invisalign is a leading orthodontic technology that relies on custom aligners made from direct impressions of your teeth. We use a digital Invisalign scanner instead of moulding materials for your comfort. Invisalign is a more discreet option that may correct many of the same issues as traditional braces.

You wear your aligner for about two weeks before moving on to the next and continue this way until you’ve completed treatment. Periodically, you visit your dentist to make sure teeth are lining up on schedule.

Unlike traditional braces, you can remove your Invisalign aligners for brief periods like brushing your teeth or eating, for example.

Spark

Introducing a new teeth straightening Clear Aligner option to our practice - SPARK.

Spark was introduced and piloted in Australia and New Zealand starting in 2017, used by orthodontist and recently released for General Dentist use. 

Spark Clear Aligners are designed to be clear and comfortable and have a high sustained force retention. This means that Spark Clear Aligners result in effective and efficient tooth movements. Spark is also designed to have less staining when tested with coffee, tea, wine. 

Angel Aligner

Angel Aligner have been around for 20+ years. Developed in China with Orthodontist, Angel Aligners are created from transparent, BPA -free plastic material. They offer a discreet and comfortable option to straighten your teeth while promoting excellent oral health through regular bushing and flossing. each aligner is meticulously tailored to fit your teeth, for a comfortable and precise fit and effective tooth movement. 

Smile Fast or Short-Term Braces

Short-term braces consider your smile's aesthetics, concentrating on the smile line or the teeth that show when you laugh or speak. Because of this, you typically only need short-term braces for six to nine months.

After Orthodontics

Following treatment with one of our systems, we provide a custom retainer. This clear appliance, worn during sleep, reminds your teeth to remain in their new straight positions.
