Where there is tooth damage through decay, wear or fracture, a full range of options for restoration is available.
Dental resins can be successfully and affordably used to repair the teeth. Resin is an acceptable restorative material when the damage is not extensive and there is enough remaining tooth structure to support the heavy forces that are present in the mouth.
Alternatively, porcelain restorations provide the ultimate solution.
They are individually made in a laboratory, using the most advanced materials and technology.
They can provide excellent aesthetics, in a very bio-compatible material that is bonded to the damaged tooth, with precision-fit, and optimal shape and anatomy.
Our clinic offers a broad range of cosmetic dental services, executed to the highest standards.
We offer solutions to discoloured and chipped teeth.
It may be the alignment of your teeth, spaces? Our experienced dentists can tailor your dental plan to address individual concerns or full-mouth rehabilitations to achieve the smile you have always wanted.
Invisalign is cutting-edge technology, and a very popular way to treat adults who want to correct crooked teeth, as it is virtually invisible. It consists of a series of individually manufactured aligners that you change every two weeks, which move the teeth little by little until reaching their final position.
It can also be used in compliant teens as an alternative to fixed braces.
One of the main dental concerns affecting children and young adults is orthodontics - crooked teeth and upper/lower jaw discrepancies.
Early assessment can greatly improve orthodontic outcomes. Our experienced dentists can provide advice as to what treatment is needed to ensure a good bite with straight teeth.
Tooth loss can provide problems functionally as well as aesthetically. It is a priority to maintain your own teeth in good health, however if teeth are lost, Implants can provide an excellent solution, to retain a functional bite and also provide an excellent aesthetic result.
A dental implant involves a surgical procedure to secure a titanium 'root' into the site of the missing tooth, and this is restored with a porcelain crown to provide a fixed, permanent solution for replacing missing teeth.
Keeping your teeth looking a healthy white can be a challenge. Many factors can affect the colour of your teeth, such as smoking, wine, some medications, coffee and various foods. Some people naturally have darker teeth, while others will become more yellow with age.
We offer a number of great options to whiten your teeth, and refresh your smile. Teeth whitening is very popular, and an excellent way to improve your smile. Discuss your needs with your practitioner to determine the best option for you.
A crown is often referred to as a 'cap'. It is the treatment of choice if a tooth has been badly damaged as a result of decay or fracture. A crown provides additional strength to minimize risk of further deterioration and subsequent tooth loss.
It can also offer not only great improvement in tooth structure but also improve appearance and modify shape and alignment of teeth. There are a variety of materials that can be used to fabricate crowns, that can be decided upon depending on the clinical situation.
A root canal is a dental procedure that can save a tooth that has become severely infected and/or is badly decayed, to the extent that the nerve roots have become involved.
The process involves extracting nerve roots from the tooth, cleaning and shaping the canal cavity, and filling and sealing the root canals to prevent bacteria from re-entering the system.
Restoration with a crown is often necessary to optimally protect the tooth, and improve appearance.
Dental pain is not always a sign of major dental problems, however when dental pain occurs it can be distressing and debilitating.
We take pain management seriously and will endeavour to see patients promptly if they are experiencing dental pain. The cause of pain can be varied; prompt assessment will determine the best course of action and address not only the immediate pain, but the cause.
The human ageing process results in the reduction of the amount of body tissue and volume in the face that can now be treated by specially trained dentists with Anti-Wrinkle Injections and Dermal Fillers.
Our dentists have been further trained with AADFA (Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics) to provide anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
Anti wrinkle injections can also be used to improve gummy smiles, or to address certain cases where bruxism (teeth grinding) has lead to built up jaw muscles.
