A Note from Dr Scott:

To my LTDE patients,
 
With a focus to further my dental expertise, I have decided to make the big step to go back to University to commence full time study to become an Endodontic Specialist. With this decision comes a large time commitment to my studies which unfortunately means I will be stepping back from LTDE. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 3 years in the clinic since moving from New Zealand. One of the highlights of LTDE is that all the practitioners are focused on excellence in patient care and working as a team for our patients, so I know my loyal regular patients will be well looked after by one of our experienced gentle practitioners. If my Timetable allows, I am hoping to come back and do the occasional sessions in the clinic, so it's not 'Good-bye' but just a "see you later"

Dr Scott is an experienced Dentist with a warm, easy-going personality. Born and raised in New Zealand, Dr Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with distinction from the University of Otago in 2014.

His professional career took him to Hutt Hospital (located just 20 minutes from the capital city of Wellington), where he spent two years working in the public health sector. 2017 saw a move into private practice, where he found his passion for working closely with patients, being able to change their perception of dentistry and empowering them to take control and improve their oral health.

Away from dentistry, Dr Scott enjoys all aspects of adventure and fitness. A keen fan of cycling, hiking, running, CrossFit and exploring with his wife Alana and their puppy Boston (a Hungarian Vizsla).
